All I Want For Christmas Is...

With Christmas morning just around the corner and the city bustling with busy shoppers, I asked some of Ireland's top fashion folk what they are hoping to find under the tree this year.
Here's what they had to say:

Top of my wishlist is a Burberry Prorsum Shearling coat...for a mere €6,377.55.

Annmarie O'Connor
Fashion Stylist & Journalist
Loneliness is all the more palpable this time of year so I would say the gift of friendship for everyone. Christmas FM is doing a wonderful job raising awareness for AWARE. Tune in and make a donation.

Metallics, sequins, embellishments, whatever it is as long as it sparkles I'm hooked. I fell in love with this American Retro tux jacket in Paris, it was on sale and it fit perfectly, I walked away. So I'm hoping Santa will be popping this metallic tux jacket under my Christmas tree or I'd happily settle for another trip back to Paris to go get the jacket myself. A girl can dream....

My ultimate wish list item is... a PUG!
I would absolutely die if I woke up on Christmas morning and founds a pug asleep at the bottom of my bed!!
I recently met an 11 week old Pug puppy in Dublin, and I feel in love. She was even wearing a Christmas Jumper!
I'm definitely NOT going to be getting a Pug for Christmas but am vowing to get one in 2014. I need one!

I guess what I am dreaming most of is women wearing this dress. It is made from hand cut & applied patent leather each placed one by one and is uniquely made in Ireland! The sheer layer is made from 100% silk organza and really empowers a structured femininity. It will be available in Atelier 27 in Drury Street D2 from January 2014 at €295

This Christmas I'm dreaming of some quality time with my friends and family. If money was no object , what would I hope for under the tree? I might ask for "staff" this year. Hehe. A cleaner, chef and PA for the year would be nice although I'm useless at telling others what to do. Haha Failing that, I wouldn't mind a set of Rae Morris make up brushes or MAC's new Masterclass collection.

I LOVE these Celine Gold Plated Oxfords, I mean hello amazing! I'm not sure of the price, but found a pair on EBay for nearly $3000, so unfortunately they will have to stay on the wish list forever! :)

And finally, my own wish...
As I am heading to Australia on the 8th January, all I want this year is to spend some quality time with my family. My sister is a Nurse and had to work last year so I'm really looking forward to spending the day together this Christmas.

I hope everyone has a great Christmas and gets to spend this special time with the people they love:)

Thats A Wrap!

I have never been able to understand how people hate wrapping presents!?
I find it such a fun, creative task that can be just as thoughtful as what's inside and I actually look forward to doing it.
I'm going to spend tomorrow wrapping all my gifts so I wanted to share some beautiful images I found while I was looking for some inspiration.

Happy Wrapping:)

Bambi Baby

Sweater, Skirt, Boots & Bag Penneys/Primark Blazer Zara

Another one of my Penneys/Primark "must haves" this season was the Bambi sweater. Its such a cute version of the famous Givenchy one and again I just had to have it:)! I dressed it up today with this fun leather-look skirt, but I also love to style it with some distressed jeans, trainers & a leather jacket.

Tartan Tales

Dress, Boots & Bracelet Penneys/Primark Jacket Zara Bag New York Market

You just cant beat a bit of tartan for Christmas time, can you? You've probably all seen this dress in Penneys/Primark by now. The minute I set eyes on it I knew I had to have it and at only €17, how could I resist?!
I love the detailing of the collar and the cut of the dress. It reminds me of the school uniforms in Home & Away! I cant wait to style it with some heels & lipstick for a festive night out!

In other news, I finished up work on Friday for my year off!! So now the planning really starts.
If anyone has any backpacking or Australia tips please do send them on:)!
