I am so in love with Penney's range of scarves for Autumn Winter! I bought this one a few weeks ago and have been dying to wear it ever since.  It is so cosy & also oversized so can be worn either as a scarf or wrapped around as a shawl.It is check on one size & houndstooth on the reverse so really you're getting two scarves in one! And if all that isn't enough, it also comes in a range of colours! I have my eye on the pastel pink version & the forest green too.

Grey Matters

 

One trend I am definitely going to be working this season is Grey! It is finally starting to get chilly enough to take out all those cosy winter pieces you've had packed away all Summer. What I love most about this trend is that it works best when you layer up all different shades of grey & fabric textures. Layer that beautiful chunky knit over a delicate charcoal slip, or throw your favourite grey coat over a cosy sweater & pair of leather trousers.

 

And accessories? Grey of course:)!

My hunt for the perfect pair of Jeans is finally over! I found this pair in River Island yesterday & I love everything about them. They are so soft, not too high or too low cut & even have some rips! Incase you hadn't already noticed, Im a bit obsessed with ripped jeans:)

We have the likes of Chanel & Moschino to thank for this quirky trend which translates extremely well off the catwalk. There are some amazing options on the highstreet at the moment, but you'll have to act fast as I'm sure they are going to snapped up quick!

 

I am so excited to get my hands on the New Look Doughnut Bag and I'm also waiting for my Bershka Milk Bag to be delivered! Ill do an outfit post once I get it:)

Prints Charming

 

I got these floral skinnies in Zara about 2 weeks ago and have been dying to wear them ever since! They are super comfy and very affordable at only €29.95. I just love the bold print! I teamed them with this old Coral biker jacket, also from Zara, and my favourite Penneys boots.

Metallics, sequins, embellishments, whatever it is as long as it sparkles I'm hooked. I fell in love with this American Retro tux jacket in Paris, it was on sale and it fit perfectly, I walked away. So I'm hoping Santa will be popping this metallic tux jacket under my Christmas tree or I'd happily settle for another trip back to Paris to go get the jacket myself. A girl can dream....

My ultimate wish list item is... a PUG!

I would absolutely die if I woke up on Christmas morning and founds a pug asleep at the bottom of my bed!!

I recently met an 11 week old Pug puppy in Dublin, and I feel in love. She was even wearing a Christmas Jumper!

I'm definitely NOT going to be getting a Pug for Christmas but am vowing to get one in 2014. I need one!

This Christmas I'm dreaming of some quality time with my friends and family. If money was no object , what would I hope for under the tree? I might ask for "staff" this year. Hehe. A cleaner, chef and PA for the year would be nice although I'm useless at telling others what to do. Haha Failing that, I wouldn't mind a set of Rae Morris make up brushes or MAC's new Masterclass collection.

I LOVE these Celine Gold Plated Oxfords, I mean hello amazing! I'm not sure of the price, but found a pair on EBay for nearly $3000, so unfortunately they will have to stay on the wish list forever! :)

And finally, my own wish...
As I am heading to Australia on the 8th January, all I want this year is to spend some quality time with my family. My sister is a Nurse and had to work last year so I'm really looking forward to spending the day together this Christmas.

Tartan Tales

Dress, Boots & Bracelet Penneys/Primark Jacket Zara Bag New York Market

 

You just cant beat a bit of tartan for Christmas time, can you? You've probably all seen this dress in Penneys/Primark by now. The minute I set eyes on it I knew I had to have it and at only €17, how could I resist?!

I love the detailing of the collar and the cut of the dress. It reminds me of the school uniforms in Home & Away! I cant wait to style it with some heels & lipstick for a festive night out!

In other news, I finished up work on Friday for my year off!! So now the planning really starts.

Clover Canyon

 

Clover Canyon has only just popped up on my radar and I am already in LOVE!!

The label, founded in 2011, hails from LA and every single piece is designed, printed and made in their Californian atelier. The unique pieces are an excitable explosion of colour, print & pattern on modern, wearable silhouettes. The style nods towards Mary Katrantzou & Peter Pilotto, but in a much more affordable price range, with most dresses around €200.

 

With a huge celebrity following, including Kourtney Kardashian and Solange Knowles,

this label is definitely one to watch!

Clover Canyon is now available in Brown Thomas Cork and BT2.

Folkster Wishlist

I spend far too long drooling over the Folkster website and blog!

If you haven't already heard of Folkster (where have you been?!) it is an online store for

"bad-ass bohemian fashion loving folks" and is also part of Shutterbug, a Kilkenny based vintage store owned by the amazingly beautiful & talented stylist Blanaid Hennessy.

 

These are just a few of the items that are on my wishlist, modelled by the stunning Lauren Bejaoui, along with the Jeffrey Campbell Coltrane which is right up there at the top... Hint hint Santa;)
