Day of the Dead

 

So yesterday morning we decided to dress up a bit for the night! I had been working non stop all week on Christmas Windows so hadn't even planned on going out but sometimes they are the best nights! I am obsessed with Mexican Sugar Skulls and have wanted to do the Day of the Dead make-up look for ages. I ran to the pound shop for some white face paint & cheap flowers. I attached the flowers to a hairband to make the head piece and it only cost €4!

Sparkle & Shine

Just a quick post to show you my make-up from last night! The amazingly talented Niamh from Mac did it for me for my leaving drinks with the girls from work. She used the glitter pots from the Mac Devine Night Christmas Collection Sets. I am in love with this set, which contains pigments and glitters, and I cant wait to try it out myself!

Painted Faces

Every girl knows that one of the best parts of going out is the planning and getting ready. While most of my time goes into deciding what to wear, I also spend a considerable amount of time thinking about how I'll do my make-up. I can spend hours watching tutorials on Youtube and browsing Pinterest for inspiration.
