Hands up, I am guilty of being a bad blogger over the last week or so! I am back to work after a lovely 10 months off so have been adjusting to that, and had a bad case of the sniffles too. But I'm back to normal now:)!

 

So the week before last, I was invited to a bloggers preview of the Opera Lane AW collections in Perry Street Café. The food was amazing (especially those red velvet cupcakes!) and the show, which was styled by Natasha Crowley, made me want to run to Opera Lane there & then and buy everything!

 

I went with the beautiful Margaret of 4ngstyle and we took some pics before the show, so huge thanks to her for these photos and do check out her gorgeous blog if you haven't already!

Christmas Windows

I've been such a bad blogger lately as I have been so busy in work, so I decided to show you some photos of what I've been working on. The Christmas Windows are the most important event of our year and take two solid weeks to install. The theme this year was 1920's Snow Scenes, with a hint of Gatsby & Art Deco, I really enjoyed styling the looks for this scheme! It is hard work and a lot of late nights, but it is also a lot of fun & a great chance to really express your creativity.

The feeling you get when you see a little child gazing in at your work like its magic is so rewarding:)!

 

I finish up in work next Friday to start preparing for my Australian adventure in January

so there will be a lot more blogging from me:)!

There's no denying it, London really is the fashion capital of the world! When you look past the fancy-dress, attention seekers there is such amazing and inspiring styling. London street style always reminds me that fashion should be fun! The colour combinations, texture mash-ups and pattern clashing has my head brimming with ideas for Autumn Winter!

Style File: Nicole Richie

I recently watched my 1st episode of Fashion Star, the American tv show where Nicole Richie mentors emerging designers as they try to impress top industry buyers. It all sounded like my dream programme, but to be honest I thought it was so badly edited I couldn't even watch it. Big disappointment! But it did remind me of how much I adore Nicole Richie!

 

I can never pinpoint one thing I love about Nicole's outfits, I think its just how she puts everything together. Now I am well aware that behind every celeb is a top stylist, but I still think how you wear things is far more important than what you wear.

Neon Bright

So at last here is my first proper outfit post:)

I had a busy weekend spent at the beach, dancing with friends, eating lovely food, walking by the river and of course catching up on my favourite fashion magazines.

Love this shoot from Vogue Netherlands,

Everytime I'm abroad I always look out for different magazines to add to my collection. Its always interesting to see the styling from other countries.

 

This also makes me really want a Vogue swimsuit:)
