Christmas Windows

So it has been a bit quiet here at A Stitch in Style, but now I can show you why! We have been up the walls in work getting ready for Christmas, decorating the store & of course installing our Christmas Windows! The theme this year was the Theatre, my photos aren't the best but hopefully you can make it in to have a look for yourself if you're in Cork for the Festive season!
I just love this time of year, I'm off to make myself a hot port and get started on my Christmas shopping list!

Day of the Dead

So yesterday morning we decided to dress up a bit for the night! I had been working non stop all week on Christmas Windows so hadn't even planned on going out but sometimes they are the best nights! I am obsessed with Mexican Sugar Skulls and have wanted to do the Day of the Dead make-up look for ages. I ran to the pound shop for some white face paint & cheap flowers. I attached the flowers to a hairband to make the head piece and it only cost €4!
Hope you like the make-up:)

Prints Charming

Scarf, belt, jeans, boots Penneys/Primark Blazer Zara Bag Topshop

Hands up, I am guilty of being a bad blogger over the last week or so! I am back to work after a lovely 10 months off so have been adjusting to that, and had a bad case of the sniffles too. But I'm back to normal now:)!
So the week before last, I was invited to a bloggers preview of the Opera Lane AW collections in Perry Street CafĂ©. The food was amazing (especially those red velvet cupcakes!) and the show, which was styled by Natasha Crowley, made me want to run to Opera Lane there & then and buy everything!
I went with the beautiful Margaret of 4ngstyle and we took some pics before the show, so huge thanks to her for these photos and do check out her gorgeous blog if you haven't already!
