My Paris Fashion Week Memories

This week, 3 years ago, I jetted off on the trip of my dreams to Paris for Fashion Week. To this day, they were still the best few days of my life. I decided to do this post, mainly to remind myself of how amazing the whole thing was, but also to share the experience with you, as I have never mentioned it before on
A Stitch in Style.
I hope you enjoy my visual diary!

I am also dedicating this post to my wonderful Mum, who waited for me outside shows, held my flats for quick shoe changes, mapped out our routes & metro stops between locations and sipped Champagne with me in
The Tuilerie Gardens!

Balmain Be Mine

Oh Olivier....
Il Take it all!

Wow! What a show!
I just love this collection from Olivier Rousteing for Balmain. There are SO many pieces I would wear and I can already picture all the replicas that will be on the highstreet!

Cause of Death?

SHE DIED OF INDIVIDULITY

Apologies for the morbid post title but it does go with what I'm wearing:)
My nanny got me this t-shirt a few years ago and it is one of my favourites pieces in my wardrobe. The t-shirt line was created by supermodel Erin O'Connor and stylist Kate Halfpenny with Rihanna being the most famous fan. The organic and ethically made t-shirts can still be bought here
I dressed it up a bit with a structured blazer and statement neckpiece from Zara.

Leopard & Studs

Skinnies Bershka Top Zara Boots & Arm Cuff River Island Bag Penneys

I wore this out for drinks with the girls last night. I felt like going casual, so I just threw on my favourite leopard print ankle boots, ripped skinnies and some red lippy:)! I was so comfortable! I love this t-shirt as it is simple from the front,
then the skull cut-out at the back adds some interest to your outfit.

Hope everyone had a great weekend,

Lennon Courtney Launch

I pottered in to the lovely Blush Boutique today after work where Brendan Courtney was launching his latest collection from Lennon Courtney. I thought I was going to miss it but thankfully fashion events rarely start on time:)

I arrived to a store buzzing with excited, well-dressed women, sipping Prosecco and discussing fashion. Brendan then talked us through his collection, which he designs with fellow stylist Sonya Lennon, as two models showcased the new season pieces available in the store.

If you are looking for something crazy and eye-catching, then this is not the label for you.
However, if what you are looking for are flattering, classic and timeless investment pieces then Lennon Courtney is most definitely what you need.
My absolute favourite piece was the Leather Collar,
the perfect accessory to dress up any outfit, you can purchase it for me here :)

Hope you like the photos and the best of luck to Brendan & Sonya with another stunning collection,

Street Walker

There's no denying it, London really is the fashion capital of the world! When you look past the fancy-dress, attention seekers there is such amazing and inspiring styling. London street style always reminds me that fashion should be fun! The colour combinations, texture mash-ups and pattern clashing has my head brimming with ideas for Autumn Winter!

These are just a handful of my favourite shots,

My LFW Top Picks

Just a little collage of a few of my favourite looks so far from London Fashion Week.
I always love London, not only for its individuality and uniqueness, but also for its wearability. I would literally wear every one of these looks and I am actually drooling over those Mary Katrantzou pieces!

What have been your favourites so far?
I cant wait to see Peter Pilotto & Erdem tomorrow.

Berry Nice

Leather Jacket, Hoodie, Trainers & Bag Penneys/Primark Scarf & T-Shirt Zara Jeans Bershka

So all of a sudden it has gotten really cold in Cork! I am not happy about this. We went to town for our favourite burritos, nachos and a few beers at the weekend and I had to break out my winter clothes and layer up to keep warm. I look really cold in these shots:) I'm loving all the berry tones that are present for Autumn Winter, they're so versatile and easy to wear.

I also only noticed the sign behind me that says Front Row after we took these shots!
Quite fitting coincidence during Fashion Month:)!
